Real questions. Real calls. Your score.

Scoring

Every call on Real Odd Games scores the same way: +1 point for a correct call, −1 point for an incorrect one. A push (a tie, a voided game) scores nothing. That is the whole system, and it is the same in every room — a matchup on a sports Board, a question on a trivia Board, a hand at a Parlor table.

Parlays

A parlay chains picks together. It starts at one point; each correct pick doubles the running total, and one miss ends the chain. Points a finished parlay banked stay yours. Straight plays, Pick’em boards and trivia Boards score each call on its own.

Trivia: each question stands alone

On a trivia Board every question is its own call. Three right pays three; two right and one wrong pays one; the Board pays the sum. Questions settled by the coin are graded the same way for every player holding that question that day.

Cards and dice

A finished table records points for the people seated at it: a win is a point at a one-winner table (Bonzai, Nerts, Malarkey); a placement table (Upstart, Bigwig) pays by finishing order, last place scoring zero. The daily deal is one call: win or lose.

One ledger per league

Your points live inside a league. Points earned in one league never transfer to, offset or inflate another; each league keeps its own ledger, and every leaderboard is a record of play in that league alone. The exception is a seeded competition, where several leagues run the same rules under one banner and their points are measured on common ground.

What points are

Points are the score, and only the score. They are earned by being right, kept in the league where they were earned, and never bought, sold, boosted or converted into anything else. Weekly and monthly ladders reset on schedule; the all-time ledger does not.
